OVERALL SUMMARY

Undertake Self Directed account and portfolio closure activity on the IRESS provided suite of systems within tight timeframe.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Accurate and timely processing of account and portfolio closures for Self Directed clients.
  • To be a central point of contact and owner for this activity.
  • Close liaison with other departments to ensure that the closures run smoothly and effectively.
  • Involvement in problem solving.
  • To inform Line Manager / Supervisor of areas of concern and issues that may arise.
  • Consistently demonstrate the Firms Business Principles (Client Excellence People & Integrity).
Regulatory responsibilities Compliance / T&C
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the regulatory framework relevant to the role whilst practising effective risk management taking account of outcomes for clients.
  • Understand follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business. Follow principles and rules of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the internal requirements set out in the Compliance Manual local and Group Compliance and Risk policies.
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF :
  • Previous Financial Services experience specifically in a Wealth Management business would be a key advantage as would experience in working with differing investment types / products and platforms.
  • Detailed working knowledge of Microsoft Excel in addition to the full suite of Microsoft Office Teams applications required.
  • Keen attention to detail (system and non-system).
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately within very tight deadlines.
  • Good team player with the ability to work on own initiative.
  • Flexibility and availability to work overtime during peak workload periods
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
