Job description
Overview

This role reports to the Manchester-based Director of the Operational Risk Management team within the Regulatory Affairs, Policies, and Procedures group. The Ratings' Operational Risk Management team is responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing operational risks for Ratings.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform risk management strategies.
  • Leverage Power BI, QlikView or other data visualization tools to create intuitive and impactful reports.
  • Design and implement automated reporting solutions to streamline operational risk reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness in report generation and delivery.
  • Work closely with various teams, such as IT and Risk, across the organization to gather requirements, share insights, and work on controls.
  • A minimum of 5 years professional experience within financial services or a consulting environment, ideally including at least 2 years in operational risk management, data analysis, or process analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI or QlikView for data visualization and report creation.
  • An interest in AI, including genAI.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent English skills with near-native proficiency, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated high level of integrity and professionalism.
