Description

Keoghs LLP continues to expand its Complex & Specialty Division, and we’re looking for a proactive and analytical Finance Analyst to help drive sustainable growth. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior leaders — including our Deputy Operations Directors and Business Unit Directors — providing high-quality financial planning, modelling and insight that helps the division continue to perform at its best.

Key Responsibilities
What You’ll Do

In this role, you will support the division in all areas of financial planning and analysis, including:

  • Forecasting: Contribute to the preparation of monthly forecasts and explain the key drivers behind variances to budget and other financial milestones.
  • Budgeting: Support the annual budgeting process by analysing historic productivity drivers (e.g., attrition, sickness, time to hire). Identify trends, prepare summary reports, and ensure assumptions are accurately reflected in the final budget.
  • Data Integrity: Interrogate online data sources to identify anomalies and maintain accurate and reliable reporting.
  • Pricing: Build pricing models to assess the profitability of proposed new workstreams.
  • Profitability Modelling: Develop profitability models for Target Operating Models across business units and teams.
  • Performance Tracking: Track and report on the financial impact of business initiatives.
  • Bonus Calculations: Compile accurate monthly non-contractual lawyer bonus spreadsheets in line with policy.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

We are looking for someone who brings strong analytical ability, excellent attention to detail, and the confidence to communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels.

You will have:

  • Excellent command of MS Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ideally, progression towards a CIMA qualification
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise using your initiative
  • Calmness under pressure and the ability to adjust priorities when needed
  • Self-confidence and a proactive approach
  • A flexible, collaborative attitude and strong teamworking skills
