We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Operating Model Change Director.

This is a critical role within Change Execution. Working directly with the Global Head of Operating Model Change and the GCOO leadership team, the role defines and leads material operating model change aligned to the Group’s strategic objectives including those that drive operational efficiency and simplification.

The role holder will be a trusted advisor to the Global Head of Operating Model Change and accountable for successful definition and delivery of operating model change initiatives. These are typically cross value stream enablers or global, common solutions required across all businesses

In this role you will:
  • Successfully shape, lead and deliver large scale complex change programmes from design to delivery.
  • Own specific delivery programmes (such as the enterprise-wide Simplification programme) front-to-back and develop a broad network across the group, track and drive progress with the aim of creating efficiency, reducing complexity and freeing up capacity for growth and innovation.
  • Lead all aspects of the change process including co-creating business cases and justification for initiatives, initiation of change, designing an approach and plan, solution design and its impact on the operating model, programme management, business analysis, change adoption and implementation needs, as well as ensuring outcomes and benefits materialize.
  • Be a ‘trusted advisor’ to senior executive leaders, working in partnership to identify opportunities, define priorities, drive decision making, drive execution and ensure outcomes shape design with. on-going tracking of OKRs, using the data and insights to show tangible simplification
  • Be accountable for creating an environment that enables development and capability uplift within the Operating Model Change team and the wider Change Execution Team.
  • Be accountable for ensuring there are the right skills to deliver in the teams, and that the performance of our strategic partners meets the necessary standards to shape and deliver the required change outcomes.
  • Responsible for managing costs of change, headcount, risks and issues.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
  • Experienced Programme Manager at Director level who has driven large, complex, global change programmes.
  • Track record of understanding and delivering business outcomes including defining & implementing strategy and delivery of major business transformation/operating model change.
  • Proven experience in identifying, designing and implementing large-scale, complex sustainability change initiatives to meet Group Sustainability strategic goals and priorities.
  • Proven ability to thrive while working with ambiguity and an ability to identify and solve problems considering potential long-term risks and implications.
  • Proven experience of positive, challenging interactions with Senior Executives across the group with ability to build trusted partnerships with key stakeholders and sponsors.
  • Proven ability in analytical rigor, including being able to contextualize data into business activities and conclusions and manage financial plans.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way.
  • Successful experience in developing and retaining critical talent and building an effective team.
  • Deep understanding and experience of Agile delivery and embedding concepts such as Value Streams into Enterprise-wide change

This role is based in London.
