Job summary

A leading veterinary referral service in Wakefield seeks a dedicated Out-of-Hours Ward Registered Veterinary Nurse. This full-time role involves working from 3.30pm to 12am, Monday to Friday, and includes on-call Saturday night shifts on a 1 in 7 basis. The successful candidate will provide essential nursing care in our out-of-hours ward, ensuring the well-being of patients. A salary of £29,300 per annum is offered along with a £2500 supplement for out-of-hours work.

Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification required.
• Experience in an out-of-hours setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for veterinary patients during out-of-hours.
• Collaborate with the nurse team leader on case management.
