Overview
ONLINE SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER - £39,600 (plus potential bonus £4,800 per annum). Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm. Based at our Head Office near Watton.
Responsibilities
- Account Management – Manage the day-to-day relationship with key online retail partners, acting as the main point of contact for all commercial and operational matters.
- Sales Strategy & Growth – Develop and implement joint business plans with online accounts to drive profitable growth, increase market share, and enhance brand visibility.
- Commercial Planning – Create and manage promotional calendars, negotiate pricing and terms, and ensure all activities deliver a strong return on investment.
- Data Analysis & Reporting – Regularly analyse sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to identify insights and opportunities. Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular performance reports to senior management.
- Content & Listing Optimisation – Work closely with the Key Accounts team to ensure all product listings are optimised with high-quality content, images, and keywords to improve search ranking and conversion rates.
- Inventory Management – Collaborate with the Procurement team to ensure optimal stock availability, manage forecasting, and minimise out of stocks.
- New Business – Identify and onboard new online retail partners that align with our brand strategy.
Qualifications & Skills
Essential
- Proven experience in a similar role, such as E-commerce Account Management, National Account Management (with a strong online focus), or Digital Sales.
- Direct experience managing major online retail accounts.
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrable negotiation and influencing skills.
- Highly analytical with proficiency in interpreting sales data and using it to drive strategy. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are essential.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Self-motivated, highly organised, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
- Experience within FMCG
- Familiarity with digital marketing principles, including SEO, PPC, and online advertising.
