The Role

The On-Trade Account Manager within our Independent Free-Trade (IFT) focuses on both account management to maximize existing relationships and on winning and developing new accounts. A strong candidate will be an outstanding relationship builder, with the ability to sell from our premium portfolio. This position covers the South West of England and requires a current UK driving license and residence within the listed postcodes.

The Role – Duties and Responsibilities
  • From day one, you're encouraged to lead, share your ideas, and take charge of your success and the success of our business. Join us as an On-Trade Account Manager, representing Budweiser Brewing Group UK&I. Manage accounts, provide top-notch customer service, and support wholesale partners to boost sales across our portfolio.
  • Focus on both account management for existing relationships and winning new accounts.
  • Develop account plans to drive and protect growth across multiple operators.
  • Achieve volume and revenue targets with wholesale partners.
  • Build a strong network of working relationships across various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate commercial acumen and deliver KPI results.
  • Lead key activations and ensure seamless execution of brand activities.
  • Differentiate brands through innovative support that adds value to customers.
  • Track account performance versus investment and present quarterly reviews for key accounts.

  • Preference for previous sales experience.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to manage and cultivate relationships.
  • Proficient in negotiation, objection handling, and demonstrates commercial acumen.
  • Confident in written and spoken English, with knowledge of commercial mathematics.
  • Time and workload management skills to optimize effectiveness and efficiency; on-trade and premium brand experience are desirable.
