Job summary

A leading physiotherapy provider in the UK is seeking an experienced First Contact Physiotherapist to work on-site in GP practices. You will assess, diagnose, and manage MSK patients with autonomy and full clinical support. The role offers opportunities for advanced skills development, including injection therapy and independent prescribing. Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of clinical experience, and registration with HCPC and CSP is required. A full driving license is essential due to the nature of the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years post-graduate clinical experience.
• Minimum 3 years MSK clinical experience.
• Qualified injection therapist and/or independent prescriber.
• Active CPD portfolio aligned to advanced practice.

Responsibilities

• Independently assess, diagnose, and manage MSK presentations.
• Request investigations and make appropriate referrals.
• Develop tailored self-management plans.
• Utilize full scope of practice, including prescribing.
• Maintain daily utilisation records and collect PSQs.
• Work within a GP-based MDT.
