Job summary

A leading construction organization is seeking an experienced administrative support professional to enhance operational efficiency and service quality. The role involves supporting daily operations, managing office supplies, and organizing promotional events. Applicants should have at least 3 years of relevant experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a good command of English and Chinese. This is a renewable fixed-term contract for 2 years.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification work experience in institutional administration.
  • Good understanding of generative AI and data analytics.
  • High level of integrity and accountability.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • to support daily administrative tasks and service centre operation of the Hong Kong Construction Industry Trade Testing Centre (HKCITTC), including support for policy formulation and service level enhancement, budget preparation and expense monitoring;
  • to support process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality;
  • to provide general administrative support and manage office supplies;
  • to conduct regular inspections of the Centre and ensure facilities are well-maintained with timely resolution of any issues;
  • to support system implementation through computerisation initiatives and conduct user acceptance testing;
  • to perform secretariat duties for related committees and task forces, and provide customer service to industry stakeholders;
  • to assist in organising promotional events, seminars, conferences, and any other relevant activities; and
  • to carry out any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Executive Director.
Qualifications
  • a minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification work experience in institutional administration;
  • knowledge of the construction industry and office management would be an advantage;
  • good interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and contribute to team collaboration;
  • a high level of integrity and a strong sense of accountability;
  • demonstrates a good understanding of generative AI and data analytics, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and other data analysis tools; and
  • good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
