Overview

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Officer for their Client Support team in Jersey. This full-time role is essential in ensuring compliance with client due diligence (CDD) requirements throughout the lifecycle of customers within the Active Wealth and Funds sectors. The successful candidate will work collaboratively to provide first-class service to clients and internal stakeholders, directly impacting the business's regulatory obligations and commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver a high-quality service to clients and internal stakeholders, primarily supporting the administration teams with client due diligence documentation and information.
  • Proactively request necessary documentation from clients to meet regulatory requirements for various wealth structures.
  • Review and approve Client Due Diligence (CDD) and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Manage FATCA/CRS Self Certification Forms, ensuring correct completion and signing.
  • Maintain accurate records of time spent and submit timesheets promptly to aid client administration teams.
  • Support risk management by adhering to financial crime controls and ensuring knowledge of all clients is up to date.
  • Take ownership of CDD requirements, clearly communicating them to clients and following up on any outstanding actions.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects as needed, leveraging your skills to support client administration and new business teams.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a fiduciary business, demonstrating understanding of structures and the ability to create structure charts.
  • Knowledge of CDD policies and procedures, alongside a strong grasp of trust and company law, regulatory requirements, and AML principles.
  • Proficiency in using Excel and current administration systems for management reporting and documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with an enquiring mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to explain technical details effectively.
  • Strong relationship-building skills to foster collaborative working environments.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure with effective prioritisation and time management.
