Job description

The Office of the CIO Manager is responsible for the design and development of change processes, governance, and associated formal reporting across Digital Services to meet mandates and defined standards of excellence.

Strategy
  • Work with the CDIO, CCIO’s, and Associate Directors to define the medium‑term objectives across Digital Services, lead across digital services to monitor progress of activities contributing to the delivery of the digital strategy objectives.
  • Develop formal and informal reporting methods to communicate progress on activities.
Business Administration
  • Lead the Digital Services business planning cycles, provide leadership to the OCIO business administration team, working with senior managers across Digital Services.
  • Lead the coordination of a consistent risk management and reporting process.
Digital Change and Governance
  • Responsible for development and implementation of the Digital change management policy.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to continuous improvement of change management processes and reporting systems.
General
  • Interpret and communicate highly complex and sometimes contentious information.
  • Responsible for development of policies and procedures relating to the Office of the CIO.
  • Responsible for the management of Digital budgets, ensuring Trust Standing Financial Instructions (SFIs) are adhered to.
