Job Summary

Working in a highly pressurised environment to provide a professional, efficient and effective administrative service for the Department. Using initiative in sometimes complex situations to ensure that patients are booked in line with local and national Access targets.

Work as part of a team, supporting other team members to deliver the Access targets and a patient focused booking service.

To obtain case notes for the Department on a timely basis from various locations on Glan Clwyd's site, including the Medical Record's Department.

Qualifications
  • Good standard of general education.
  • NVQ 2 or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of WPAS/Hospital administration systems.
Experience
  • Experience within an office environment involving customer service.

  • Ability to use a variety of computer databases: RADIS, TPATH, PAS and Microsoft Office packages.
  • Previous medical records or hospital based clerical experience.

  • Frequent and prolonged use of VDU's.
  • Frequent and prolonged use of telephones.
