Overview

Office Administrator — Permanent position. Part Time: 30 hours over 5 days (Mon-Fri 8.30-4pm with two early finishes at 1pm on a Wednesday and Friday). Term Time only.

Start date: The position is to start on the 5th January (or as soon as possible).

Salary: Scale 3 (NJC 5) £18,679 actual.

Responsibilities

The Governors of this small, friendly and inclusive school are seeking to appoint an Office Administrator. You will work closely alongside the School Operations lead and Pastoral Lead.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a positive and welcoming personality
  • Demonstrate previous administrative experience
  • Communicate effectively with parents, pupils, visitors and staff
  • Remain calm and positive under pressure
  • Demonstrate a good working knowledge of a management information system (e.g. COMPASS)
  • Be responsible for pupil data management and statistical returns
  • Work with minimum supervision and as part of a team
  • Show excellent communication, literacy, numeracy and ICT skills
  • Be reliable
  • Use initiative to support the School Operations Lead and Senior Leadership Team
