GAP Talent is representing a leading UK professional services and business advisory firm as they continue to grow their Digital Risk and Advisory Services practice. This organisation works closely with ambitious, high-growth and entrepreneurially driven businesses that form the backbone of the UK economy, providing trusted advice to owners and senior leadership teams.

The firm’s Digital Services team helps organisations understand, manage and respond to business-critical risks, including cyber threats, operational disruption and emerging technology risks. They are now seeking a highly skilled Offensive Security Analyst to join a fast-paced, collaborative cyber team.

The Role

This role focuses on delivering advanced penetration testing and red team engagements across a wide range of client environments. You will play a key role in identifying vulnerabilities, strengthening security postures, and contributing to the development of innovative offensive security methodologies and tooling.

You’ll work with clients across multiple industries and geographies, staying at the forefront of threat intelligence, cyber defense best practices and regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct sophisticated penetration testing and red team engagements across networks, applications and cloud environments
  • Identify, validate and clearly communicate security vulnerabilities and business risk
  • Support vulnerability management and remediation planning
  • Contribute to the development of new penetration testing techniques, tools and automation
  • Keep up to date with emerging attack methods, threat actors and offensive security technologies
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across cyber, technology, risk and transformation disciplines
  • Engage confidently with senior stakeholders, including managers and directors
  • Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and provide additional value to clients
About You
  • Strong experience in penetration testing and offensive security
  • Knowledge of modern and emerging attack techniques
  • Experience with vulnerability management (advantageous)
  • Interest in research, tooling development and automation
  • Exposure to financial services environments is beneficial but not essential
  • Actively working towards, or holding, certifications such as CEH, OSCP or CREST
  • Curious, proactive and motivated to continuously learn and develop
