The role

As Ocean Freight Import Supervisor, you will:

• Oversee day-to-day import operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient service to clients
• Manage a small team, providing leadership, guidance, and support
• Coordinate import shipments from origin to delivery, maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, and internal departments
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance client satisfaction
• Support management with reporting, KPIs, and operational planning

About you

• Proven experience in ocean freight imports within a freight forwarding environment
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures and documentation
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
