Job description

Shift Pattern

8.30‑4.30 pm Monday to Friday

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Occupational Therapy Clinical Support Worker to join the Inpatient Mental Health Team in the North East of Glasgow at Stobhill Mental Health Campus. The Inpatient Occupational Therapy Team works across the inpatient site, including adult acute admissions, older peoples’ mental health and rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

Occupational Therapists will provide specialist assessments to this patient group; allocate work to the postholder; provide supervision and support the development of the clinical support worker. The postholder will support ward‑based therapeutic activity, home visits and community work as prescribed by the qualified occupational therapist and facilitate group and individual work.

Qualifications

Applicants should have an HNC in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualifications and / or experience. Candidates should be highly motivated, flexible and have excellent communication and written skills. Previous work experience as an occupational therapy support worker would be desirable.
