What you will do:

  • Be responsible and accountable for undertaking the duties with due regard to the City Council’s Equal Opportunities Policy.
  • Maintain specialist knowledge of rehabilitation and general knowledge of adult conditions and multi-pathology.
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments of clients referred to the service.
  • Interpret and analyse clinical and non-clinical data to gain a detailed understanding of the client’s functional ability and potential for improvement.
  • Set agreed goals and develop intervention plans using clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice. Work towards promoting individual independence within their home environment.

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:

  • Hold a degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
  • Have recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist
  • Possess recent NHS experience
  • Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
