What you will do

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments for patients with various neurological conditions including Stroke, Acute Brain Injury, and Spinal Rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Manage complex and specialist cases, utilising strong clinical reasoning skills.
• Document patient progress thoroughly and accurately.
• Conduct necessary risk assessments to ensure patient safety and effective care.
• Utilise your understanding of the relationship between physical, cognitive, psychological, and social dimensions of illness to inform treatment.
• Stay informed on current legislation affecting occupational therapy practices.

Requirements

• HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist.
• Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
• Recent or current UK NHS experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience with neurological conditions, confident in treating complex cases in the field of neurological therapy.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with computer systems.
