Qualifications

Occupational Health Advisor (Part-Time)

We are recruiting for a part‑time Occupational Health Advisor to support a manufacturing organisation based in Daventry. This role offers the opportunity to provide practical, high‑quality occupational health advice within an on‑site manufacturing environment. You will work closely with managers and employees, delivering occupational health assessments that support attendance, wellbeing, and safe working practices.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver fitness for work and sickness absence assessments
  • Provide clear, evidence‑based occupational health advice to managers
  • Deliver and coordinate health surveillance programmes relevant to manufacturing
  • Contribute to the prevention of work‑related ill health
  • Maintain professional standards and ongoing CPD in line with NMC requirements
Experience and Qualifications
  • Experience working as an Occupational Health Advisor or Occupational Health Nurse
  • Competent in case management and health surveillance, including audiometry, spirometry and skin surveillance
  • Registered General Nurse with a recognised Occupational Health qualification (Certificate, Diploma or Degree)
  • Current NMC registration and full UK driving licence
  • Well‑organised, self‑motivated and comfortable working independently
