A leading AI firm is seeking a Simulation Asset & Environment Specialist for a 2-month project with potential extension. The role involves transforming 3D models into simulation-ready assets for NVIDIA Isaac Sim, requiring both technical expertise and familiarity with various 3D tools. Candidates should be skilled in Python scripting, physics simulation, and should possess a deep understanding of USD. The position offers flexible hours and is fully remote.
Based in San Francisco, California, Turing is the world’s leading research accelerator for frontier AI labs and a trusted partner for global enterprises deploying advanced AI systems. Turing supports customers in two ways : first, by accelerating frontier research with high-quality data, advanced training pipelines, plus top AI researchers who specialize in coding, reasoning, STEM, multilinguality, multimodality, and agents; and second, by applying that expertise to help enterprises transform AI from proof of concept into proprietary intelligence with systems that perform reliably, deliver measurable impact, and drive lasting results on the P&L.
We are looking for a highly skilled Simulation Asset & Environment Specialist for an immediate project contract - initial duration will be 2 months with potential to extend beyond. This is a high-impact role bridging the gap between 3D art and Robotics Engineering.
You will be responsible for transforming raw 3D models into fully functional, "simulation-ready" assets for NVIDIA Isaac Sim. This is not a pure modelling role; it requires a deep technical understanding of USD structures, physics properties (colliders, mass, friction), and Python scripting for automation .
As part of assessments you will go through an AI video interview.
