We’re looking for compassionate and caring Nursing Assistants to be a key part of the patient care journey at Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MFT). Our Nursing Assistants take pride in essential work, delivering high quality, patient-focused care to patients and families.
You’ll communicate in a sensitive and compassionate manner with patients, relatives, and other members of the multi-disciplinary team, working flexibly across off-site areas over six days a week. This opportunity is to join the Macular Treatment Centre (MTC) Teams at the Oxford Road Campus.
The Macular Treatment Centre is renowned as a centre of excellence for treatment of macular eye conditions, with emphasis on research and audit. Informal visits are welcome. There will be a requirement to work across sites to support MTC@North, MTC@Trafford and South Manchester to meet service needs.
At MFT, you’ll be supported to develop your knowledge and skills through our Development Programmes for Nursing Assistants. For candidates who have not completed the Care Certificate previously, the programme includes completion of the Care Certificate.
