Job summary

A reputable teaching agency in the United Kingdom is seeking a Nursery Teacher passionate about the early years. You will deliver engaging education based on the EYFS curriculum in a community nursery. The ideal candidate holds QTS or EYTS and has a love for learning through play. Start is ASAP but can be deferred to January 2026. This role offers a vibrant outdoor learning environment to enrich children's development.

Qualifications

  • Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS).
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum required.
  • Experience as a nursery teacher or reception teacher is preferred.

Are you a talented educator with a passion for the early years? Do you hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS)?

If you are looking for a nursery teacher role in an excellent community nursery school, this could be the role for you!

The role is available to start immediately, however, the start date can be pushed back until 5th January if necessary.

The school follows the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. This curriculum is guided by the notion that play is essential for children's development, building their confidence as they learn to explore, to think about problems, and relate to others. By playing, children are learning about the world around them and developing a passion for learning.

The school has a large, wonderful outdoor environment and it is expected that being outside and learning through play and activities is a priority.

About you
  • Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS)
  • Must be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
  • Be a firm believer in learning through play
  • Ideally have previous experience as a nursery teacher or reception teacher
  • Be active and energetic
  • Have a fun and vibrant nature
  • Have a genuine love for the early years and a strong desire to lay down the foundations of learning
