Job description

Place of work: North London, N7 9EY
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week. The nursery is open from 8am to 6pm, 48 weeks of the year and staff work within a shift system. This is a permanent position.

Start: As soon as possible
Salary: £26,000 - £32,500 dependant on qualifications and experience and will be discussed at interview stage.

Person specification:

As our ideal qualified room leader, you will be flexible and creative with strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. You will have a sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and be passionate about child development. It is essential for this role to hold Level 3 Early Years and Childcare qualification e.g. NNEB, CACHE, NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education and above.

Key responsibilities:
  • Be a key person to a specific group of children

  • Liaise with parents on all aspects of their child's care and development
  • Monitor and track children’s development, progression and planning their next steps
