Overview

Brookside Academy Nursery are currently recruiting a Nursery Practitioner, who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of our children. Part Time - 18.5 hours per week (Thurs/Fri), All Year Round. Permanent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities following the EYFS framework.
  • Support children’s emotional, social, and cognitive development through play.
  • Keep clear records of children’s progress and learning journeys.
  • Promote positive behaviour and self‑esteem.
  • Work closely with parents/carers to build strong home‑nursery relationships.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards at all times.
Qualifications
  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare and Education (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working in an early years setting.
  • A good standard of literacy, numeracy, and written communication.
