Job summary

A leading nursery group in Ingleby Barwick is seeking an Early Years Educator to foster the development of children. You will lead educational activities and create a safe environment, supporting children’s growth in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Ideal candidates will have a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and experience with children under 5. The position offers competitive salary and ongoing professional development.

What to Expect as a Nursery Practitioner
  • Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children’s growth and learning.
  • Lead Educational Activities: Plan and deliver activities that support children’s physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Key Person Role: Oversee children’s development, care needs, and build strong family connections.
What We’re Looking For
  • Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
  • Proven experience with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education.
  • Good communication, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.
