Job summary

A community-focused educational organization in Mid Devon is seeking a passionate Nursery Plus Early Years Foundation Stage Senior Practitioner. This permanent part-time role involves supporting children with additional needs through targeted interventions and collaboration with practitioners. Applicants should have relevant EYFS experience and at least a Level 3 qualification in childcare. The position offers a salary of £30,518-£33,699 FTE, working 30 hours per week across 39 weeks a year.

Overview

The Devon Nursery Plus Team are looking to appoint an experienced Nursery Plus Early Years Foundation Stage Senior Practitioner to join their Mid Devon Team based at Wilcombe Primary School.

Nursery Plus is a targeted service supporting children within the base school and in early years settings across Devon to improve the outcomes of children with additional needs through targeted intervention.

We are seeking a confident and experienced practitioner who is passionate about the Early Years and about improving the wellbeing of children and their access to the curriculum.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

We seek someone who is reflective of their practice and creative in their approach, can work in collaboration with other practitioners and is able to provide inclusive positive targeted interventions and advice.

  • Successful relevant and recent EYFS practice
  • An understanding of child development and EYFS teaching and learning
  • A knowledge of the SEND code of practice and early intervention
  • Ability to drive with own transport (clean driving licence essential)

This post requires a full and relevant Level 3 minimum requirement in a childcare related discipline, preferably a Level 4 qualification.
