An exciting opportunity has arisen within the MiChild group. We are currently looking for enthusiastic and passionate Level 2 and Level 3 qualified nursery Practitioners to work as casual/Flexi supply staff within one of MiChild Blackpool nurseries.

Essential Requirements
  • NVQ level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years Childcare and Education or equivalent
  • Passionate and able to provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for the children
  • Can-do attitude and adaptability to the needs of the nursery and company
  • Firm and broad understanding of the EYFS Statutory requirements and how to implement them
Key Responsibilities
  • Prioritise the safeguarding of all children, staff and families with access to the setting
  • Promote a fun, high-quality environment for all children in our care
  • Ensure the welfare and learning development requirements of all children are met at all times
  • Confidently and respectfully work in partnership with parents and carers
  • Undertake a shared responsibility for the health and safety of the nursery
  • Ensure all children are clean, loved and happy at all times
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures set out by the company
  • Be fully aware of all emergency and security procedures related to the nursery
  • Take pride in delivering exciting and age-appropriate activities
  • Ensure mealtimes are pleasant social sharing occasions
  • Comply with the Confidentiality policy
  • Understand and promote the company’s ethos and core values
  • Be a key player to ensure the nursery achieves excellent outcomes in internal audits and external authorities such as Ofsted
