Job summary

A leading cleaning service provider in Greater London is seeking a reliable self-employed cleaner to support a busy nursery's daily cleaning needs. Responsibilities include sanitising play areas, restocking supplies, and maintaining hygiene standards. Previous experience in childcare environments is preferred. This role is part-time, requiring availability Monday to Friday from 2pm to 5pm, with an hourly rate of £14.

Qualifications

• Must be self-employed and able to provide proof of status.
• Enhanced DBS is required.
• Previous cleaning experience in nurseries, schools, or commercial settings preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of hygiene standards in childcare environments.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Must be available Monday to Friday, 2pm–5pm.
• Must be able to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise classrooms, play areas, toilets, and communal areas.
• Wipe down surfaces, toys, tables, and frequent touchpoints.
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors.
• Empty bins and manage waste safely.
• Wash dishes and maintain a clean kitchen area.
• Restock cleaning and hygiene supplies as needed.
• Ensure all areas are left clean, hygienic, and ready for the next day.
• Follow nursery health and safety and safeguarding procedures.
