Job summary

Overview

Provide emergency nursing care to patients within the resuscitation room of the emergency department confidently and competently, while still retaining the skills to work anywhere within the ED. Support the wider ED adult nursing team as required, as the 'resuscitation nursing expert'. Provide effective care planning and delivery for the sickest patient group within the ED.

Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse/ODP/Paramedic with post registration acute care course or extensive experience with resuscitation experience.
  • At least 5 years experience post registration, with at least 2 of those in acute or emergency medicine.
  • Clinical teaching experience and qualifications within relevant field, e.g. Mentorship or equivalent, experience of supervising junior clinicians.
