A nursing care facility located in Ewerby is seeking a qualified nurse to provide high-quality nursing care. The role includes assessing and implementing care plans, administering medication, and supporting personal care activities. Ideal candidates will have a relevant nursing qualification and experience in a nursing home setting. You will work with the Home Manager, Clinical Lead and other trained nurses in the Home, to assess, plan, implement and evaluate quality nursing care to ensure the highest standards of care are always delivered to our residents. This should ensure positive outcomes for our residents including, inter alia: no pressure sores, no unavoidable weight loss (or gain), safe administration of medication, and all falls are minimised. You will support our carers to provide personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating. You will be responsible for administering medication, writing and updating nursing care plans and keeping accurate daily records, as well as keep all mandatory training up to date and complete additional training as required. You will be promoting our resident's choice, dignity and independence and all times and assist with the management of the care team, completing all action plans and ensuring care plans are updated and evaluated regularly.
Relevant Professional qualification (e.g. Registered Nurse (RGN / RMN / RNLD)). Minimum of one year experience in nursing home setting Experience of writing Person-Centred Care Plans Residing within 30 minutes of the Home Leadership and people skills Ability to work under pressure Time management and flexibility with working hours A caring and nurturing attitude Positive and enthusiastic outlook Written and verbal communication skills
