Job Description

What you'll do

With this role, you will be supporting a teenage boy with complex care needs in his home. He lives with his mum and attends school on a reduced timetable. Our client has cerebral palsy, epilepsy and learning difficulties. We are looking for a Registered Paediatric Nurse who will bring energy, empathy and enthusiasm to every shift.

You will be someone who values building strong relationships and providing high-quality and attentive care.

The key duties with this role include:

  • Medication administration
  • Play therapy/stimulation
  • Personal care
  • Suction
Qualifications

What you'll need

  • Registered Childrens Nurse Diploma/Degree with an up-to-date NMC Pin
  • Commitment to providing the best possible care for the client
  • To be self-motivated, enthusiastic, caring, and compassionate
  • Experience in peg feeding andcatheter care is also essential.
