Are you passionate about food innovation and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? I'm looking for a hands‑on, detail-driven NPI Technologist to help turn exciting new food concepts into successful market-ready products.

The Role

As part of my clients dynamic R&D team, you’ll play a key role in supporting the launch of new products from concept through to full production. You’ll coordinate factory trials, manage validation testing, and ensure every product meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

You’ll collaborate closely with production, technical, procurement, and engineering teams to make sure every new idea not only tastes great, but works brilliantly on the factory floor.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Supporting new product development from kitchen sample to commercial launch
  • Coordinating and running factory trials, ensuring accurate and timely results
  • Managing samples for shelf life, nutritional, and cooking validation testing
  • Organising product submissions for customer approvals
  • Maintaining clear, accurate documentation and data from trials
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, yields, and efficiencies
  • Working cross‑functionally to solve problems and deliver continuous improvement
About You

You’re a team player who’s curious, proactive, and thrives on learning. You’ll bring:

  • Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG (essential)
  • A solid grasp of food safety and health & safety standards
  • Strong organisational and data handling skills
  • A practical, “get‑it‑done” attitude and great attention to detail
  • Culinary awareness and a genuine passion for food

Relevant qualifications in food science, process technology, or a similar field are ideal, and Level 2 Food Safety and Health & Safety training would be beneficial.
