Job description

Bridging R&D and manufacturing for regulated robotics and automation products

Expansion of the company from proof‑of‑concept technologies to manufactured products has been rapid. As they take further steps into optimised production, they are looking to have a dedicated NPI Project Engineer to be the nexus between their R&D teams and their manufacturing partners. This would include enabling critical prototyping, assisting in manufacturing product capabilities, and associated verification.

The position requires excellent communication skills as there will be constant dialogue with internal and external stakeholders. Similarly, strong organisational skills are needed to ensure regulatory processes are adhered to with performance efficiency.

Requirements
  • Background in mechanical or manufacturing engineering with relevant industry experience in NPI / project engineering.
  • Extensive demonstrable experience working with 3rd party manufacturing partners within a regulated environment (medical, aerospace, automotive or similar).
  • Ability to support rapidly changing designs and collaborate with design teams and manufacturers.
  • Experience using quality management systems.
  • Must be able to understand technical drawings and specifications, support process validation tasks, BOM management and have strong time management for technical projects.

This role is based fully onsite at their offices, and may require travel to stakeholder facilities on occasion. On offer is an enhanced compensation package including bonus, pension, private medical, life insurance and season ticket loan (if required).
