NPI Manufacturing Engineer (Contract)

£40 p / h + Flexible Hours + Lunch Friday Finish

A fantastic contract opportunity has arisen to join a growing engineering business that supplies high‑value technologies worldwide. The site produces complex, precision products using modern manufacturing methods and continues to expand due to strong demand. You'll join a collaborative, forward‑thinking team that values initiative and problem‑solving. In return, you'll receive an hourly rate of circa £40 p / h (likely outside of IR35), flexible working hours, an early Friday finish, some working from home, and the opportunity for an extended contract.

NPI Manufacturing Engineer responsibilities include -
  • Lead New Product Introduction projects, ensuring smooth transfer of new products into production.
  • Create and maintain manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and process documentation, keeping ERP data accurate.
  • Support feasibility and manufacturability reviews for new and existing components.
  • Provide day‑to‑day engineering support to production, helping resolve process and material issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing methods and documentation.
