A healthcare organization in Scotland is seeking a Non Medical Endoscopist Trainee. The role involves working in the Gastroenterology specialist nursing team and carrying a caseload of gastro-intestinal patients. The post holder will receive training and advance to an independent role as a Non-Medical Endoscopist. Non Medical Endoscopist Trainee Post – Band 6 Annex 21 para 2 (i), Gastroenterology Team, Ninewells Hospital.
Applicants should be a First Level Registered Nurse, OPD, Allied Health Professional, Physician Associate, Therapeutic Radiographer or Health Care Scientist (GI Physiologist) with evidence of ongoing professional development and educated to degree level (or SCQF Level 9 equivalent). Professional registration with UK NMC, HCPC or PA MVR is required.
