Non Conformance Design Engineer - Aerospace/Marine

Capgemini Engineering are looking to recruit Design Engineers with knowledge of non-conformance within an aerospace/marine engineering background.

Your Role

Non-conformance Design Engineer within the Capgemini Engineering Design Engineering team.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Assessment of non-conformance via a Concession/Deviation Permit/Drawing Alteration Request (DAR)
  • Issuing of a report of the Concession/Deviation Permit/DAR submission to support the disposition
  • Writing of Technical Assessment Reports TARs
  • Assessing engineering drawings
  • Performing tolerancing calculations and bolt checks etc.
  • Liaising with non-conformance specialists
  • Following procedures and specifications
  • Applying Design for Manufacture (DfM) best practices
Your Profile

Your Profile

  • Experience of design of aero/marine-engine systems and all associated components (e.g. compressor, turbine, combustor, bearings, seals, casings, fitting parts etc.)
  • Knowledge of aerospace/marine manufacturing process desirable
  • Manufacturing, Producibility, Concession, NCE, SAR, DAR, TAD, AR, PDG, process experience desirable
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately to follow client needs
  • Liaising with specialist teams (stress, materials)
  • Team player, able to work effectively and to short timescales with others in a busy engineering centre
  • Excellent communication skills with a good level of verbal and written English
  • Proactive attitude and ability to communicate and report at different levels
