Logistics Planner (Nights)

£40,000 - £42,000 + Benefits
Dungannon

Do you have previous Transport or Logistics Planning/Coordinating experience? Are you looking for an opportunity to progress your career into a specialist sector in logistics?

Working alongside the existing Transport team, you will be overseeing bulk collections & deliveries across Northern Ireland. Reacting to changes of plan, product shortages and delivering an efficient handover to the planning team will be part of your shift routine. A sound geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland is required.

An interest in/knowledge of the agricultural sector would be beneficial, but not essential as training will be given.

The Role

• Oversee work schedule and routing for drivers
• Accommodate additional customer orders efficiently and react to any changes
• Manage Driver & Vehicle scheduling
• Ensure operations are carried out in accordance with legal, environmental and company policies
• Monday to Friday, 6pm to 4am with some weekend work required

You will need

• Transport/Logistics Planning/Coordinating Experience
• Excellent customer service skills to deal with customers, drivers and third parties.
• Excellent communicator and can work in a fast-paced environment
