Overview

Nightshift HGV Technician Required in Widnes: 4 night per week: Tuesday to Friday (6pm til 6am). Basic Salary of £58,000, plus Bonus. Realistic earning of £60,000! Leading Commercial Vehicle Dealer group.

Are you a motivated and skilled HGV Technician looking for a new opportunity? Our client, a leading provider in commercial vehicle maintenance, is seeking talented individuals to join their team in Widnes. If you have a passion for vehicle maintenance and enjoy working in a dynamic team environment, we want to hear from you. The successful candidate will also benefit from ongoing training and development on their new electric vehicles!

Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a team to maintain and repair trucks, lorries and other heavy goods commercial vehicles.
  • Provide excellent service to customers within a specific geographical area.
  • Undertake maintenance and repair activities, diagnose faults, and carry out tests on vehicles.
  • Complete paperwork and procedures related to warranty, contract, and retail work.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to minimize customer costs.
  • Any other duties within your capabilities as required.
Qualifications
  • NVQ or equivalent Level 2 in HGV Maintenance
  • IRTEC certificate
  • Experience in servicing, maintenance, and repair of vehicles.
  • Organised and methodical approach to problem-solving with attention to detail.
  • Completion of manufacturers training courses and maintenance of technical knowledge.
  • Full and current UK driving license; LGV and PSV license advantageous.
  • Friendly, confident, and professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent Job Card write-up skills and highly efficient.
