Night Veterinary Surgeon – Berkshire

Permanent | Part-Time | 7 Nights On / 14 Nights Off

Responsibilities
  • Autonomous Night Work: Sole charge of night surgery on a 14-hour shift, 7 nights on, 14 nights off, with independence in clinical decision-making
  • Deliver exceptional clinical care during consultations and procedures
  • Provide clear, professional updates to clients on patient progress
  • Maintain the highest standards of regulatory, practice, and operational compliance
  • Prepare tailored treatment and care plans with accurate cost estimates
  • Mentor and support the team to enhance their skills and clinical efficiency
  • Complete clinical handovers and coordinate patient transfers for out-of-hours or enhanced care
Qualifications
  • RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
  • Proven experience in delivering outstanding patient and client care
  • Strong team player with leadership and mentoring experience
  • Ability to work independently with confidence and professional integrity
  • Experience supporting nurse consults and schedule 3 procedures to improve clinic efficiency
  • Skilled in coaching and influencing colleagues to foster a progressive clinical culture
