Job Title: Night Shift Electrical Engineer – 4 on 4 off
Location: Chiswick, London
Salary: £61,000 per year
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Nights Only)

We are seeking an experienced Night Shift Electrical Engineer to join a critical technical site in Chiswick. This role is perfect for an engineer with a strong electrical maintenance background who is looking to work within a professional, high-performing environment and is comfortable working permanent nights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site, ensuring compliance, safety, and operational efficiency at all times
  • Provide first-line support for key M&E plant, including pumps, motors, drives, AHUs, LV switchgear, PLCs, and SCADA systems
  • Monitor and optimise building systems during night operations, driving performance and energy efficiency
  • Manage helpdesk requests, ensuring accurate documentation and timely updates
  • Uphold health and safety standards across all tasks and escalate issues when required
  • Work collaboratively with the wider shift team to maintain smooth site operations overnight
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (Test and Inspection)
  • Experience with high voltage systems (AP status or HV awareness advantageous)
  • Strong understanding of statutory regulations and maintenance industry standards
  • Previous experience within a technical/critical environment working shifts
  • IOSH Working Safely or similar health & safety training (preferred)
