Job Title: Night RVN

Reporting to: Night Lead

Location: Wakefield

Hours: Average 37 hrs / week

Salary: 29,300 per annum pro rata – plus 6,000 OOH supplement

A night RVN position has opened at Paragon Veterinary Referrals, Paragon Park, Wakefield. This is a full‑time position with an average of 37hrs per week and a set shift pattern designed to encourage excellent work/life balance.

Shift Pattern:

  • Monday and Tuesday: 45pm – 8:15am
  • Wednesday and Thursday: 8pm – 8:30am
  • Friday: 8pm – 8:30am
  • Saturday NIGHT: 1 in 4 shifts 7:30pm – 8:30am
  • Saturday ON CALL: 1 in 7 shifts

We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate and organised RVN to work within the inpatient care setting, including medical and surgical wards and the cattery. The ideal candidate will be passionate, positive, able to work under pressure, proactive, capable of managing time effectively and a strong team player.

This opportunity suits an RVN who enjoys all aspects of ward nursing, including triaging patients, managing emergencies, and providing intensive care to canine and feline patients in a busy environment with a small team.
