Overview

This lovely family based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, is seeking an experienced Night Nurse to support them for an initial period of 3–6 months, with high potential for extension depending on their needs. The care will be for the youngest child who is waking regularly through the night. Mum needs to rest as much as possible, so they are looking for a loving, warm candidate who can provide support during this time. A driver is required with their own car, and a valid first‑aid qualification is a must.

Working Hours

2 to 3 nights a week, 8 pm until 7 am.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting mum with postnatal recovery and postpartum care.
  • Ensuring the baby’s safety, wellbeing, and comfort at all times.
  • Feeding, burping, settling, and soothing the baby throughout the day and night.
  • Establishing healthy sleep routines and allowing parents to get adequate rest.
  • Sterilising bottles, pump parts, and dummies.
  • Managing all baby‑related laundry.
  • Keeping the nappy caddy stocked and ready for use.
  • Tidying baby areas and toys as needed.
