Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Night Nurse to join our Primary Care Team at HMP Garth. HMP Garth has a capacity of around 800 males and is a category B Prison located in Lancashire.

HMP Garth Offers:

  • Onsite parking

Hours:

  • 37.5 hours per week - Night only
  • 2 week rolling rota
  • Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday 7.30pm - 7.45pm
  • Week 2 - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - 7.30pm - 7.45am

This position is full time and you will receive an annual salary of between £33,232 - £40,211 per annum depending on experience.

Main duties of the job

As our new Night Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include:

  • Provide outstanding quality based care to all patients
  • Deliver personalised, non judgemental care, based on patient feedback
  • Undertake medication rounds
  • Dispense controlled medication
  • Attend emergency response situations
  • Deliver nurse led clinics to your patient group
