Qualifications

  • Knowledgeable in person centred dementia care planning.
  • Experience working with dementia patients.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and motivate the night care team.
  • Provide waking night cover to maintain high-quality care.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies and regulatory standards.

Skills

Up to date knowledge/experience of person centred dementia care planning and delivery
Relevant experience of working with people living with dementia
Proficient use of ICT, including Outlook, Word and Excel

Education

NVQ Level 3 or willing to work towards
Job description

Hours: 35 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Working hours are 21:45 - 07:45. Required to have full flexibility and to work bank holidays and alternate weekends.

The role

We are currently looking to recruit a Night Lead to join our team at the Watermill.

Within the role of Night Lead will lead, supervise and motivate the night care team and provide waking night cover to maintain a high quality of care and support to residents in accordance with the organisational policies, procedures and practices and the standards set by the regulatory body.
