Night Crew Leader (Night Manager) - Moxy Glasgow Merchant City

This position is based on a full-time contract.

Gross salary: £31,269 per year

We are looking for an adaptable problem solver who takes initiative to ensure guests have a great experience. The ideal candidate can manage a team in a fast-paced service role, bringing the Moxy brand to life by creating a fun and relaxed environment that makes guests feel at home.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Run the night audit and balance the day's business
2. Prepare the hotel for the following day
3. Manage the night-to-night operation of the hotel
4. Provide customer service, guest relations, and create positive guest experiences
5. Build a team that delivers excellent service the Moxy way
6. Manage Food & Beverage outlets according to Moxy standards
7. Manage hotel room inventory and check guests in/out efficiently
8. Follow all food safety, licensing, and health & safety policies to work safely
9. Promote and support the Moxy brand and Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program

We’re looking for someone with Moxie, which includes:

1. High energy and a fearless do-it-yourself attitude
2. Good interpersonal skills and enjoyment in engaging with guests
3. Ability to multitask effectively, balancing hard work with great service
4. Understanding that being relaxed isn't the same as being lazy
5. Clear communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)

Useful Experience

1. Experience within the service industry
2. Experience in team management
3. Experience with property management systems such as Opera
4. Knowledge of POS systems like Micros
5. Knowledge of Food Safety & Licensing laws
6. Personal experience of travel and the travel industry
