HGV Class 1 Driver – Nights

Location: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire

Hours: 48 per week, 5 shifts, night starts between 20:00 - 03:00

We're looking for a reliable HGV Class 1 (CE) Driver to join a busy haulage team in Tewkesbury. This is a multi-drop role delivering chilled products to customers and depots across the UK. Newly qualified drivers are welcomed – full training and development provided. Some drivers may start on Class 2 to support progression.

Key Duties

• Night‑shift HGV driving (Class 1 or Class 2 depending on experience)
• Multi‑drop deliveries of chilled goods
• Daily vehicle checks & defect reporting
• Safe loading/unloading and manual handling
• Following all health & safety and food hygiene procedures
• Using handheld devices to record deliveries
• Maintaining a clean, well‑presented vehicle

Requirements

• Full UK CE licence
• Driver CPC & Digi Tacho
• Physically fit for manual handling
• Good communication skills
• Reliable, flexible, and comfortable with night work
