Are you an experienced care assistant or care professional ready to take your knowledge and experience to the next level? At Roseberry Care, we’re on a mission to provide outstanding, person-centred care—and we’re looking for a caring, compassionate and enthusiastic Care Assistant.

Location: Primrose Lodge Nursing Home, Osborne Gardens, North Shields, Tyne & Wear NE29 9AT
Salary: £12.30 Per Hour
Hours: 38.5 Per Week/ Days - Nights and alternate weekends
Sponsorship: Not available for this role

Your Role

As a Care Assistant you will support our residents in their day to day lives including providing personal care, social activities, and meals times to promote independence and maximise their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist with washing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and continence care
• Help with mobility and transfers
• Offer companionship and a friendly presence
• Support mental and emotional well-being
• Observe and report changes in a client’s physical or emotional condition

Qualifications and Experience

• Ideally have an NVQ2 in Adult Health and Social Care
• A minimum of 1 year’s experience in Care although this is not essential
• Experience with Advanced Dementia preferred
• Excellent communication, listening and empathy skills
• A genuine passion for elderly care and team development
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
