NHS Occupational Therapist - Home First Team, Worthing, UK. Band 5 Occupational Therapist within the Home First Team. This is an ongoing contract, with the potential to earn up to £20 per hour. Locum work offers flexibility to tailor your schedule to your lifestyle, while making a meaningful impact in the community.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals who have been discharged from hospital in regaining their independence, enabling them to remain comfortably in their own homes.
• Visit patients at their residences to perform in-depth needs assessments, implement treatments, and offer valuable advice for a smooth transition back into the community.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including Reablement Support Workers and other healthcare professionals, to design and implement personalised recovery plans for each patient.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy.
• HCPC registration.
• Recent UK and NHS experience as an Occupational Therapist is essential.
