Location: Colwyn Bay and North Wales

Pay Rates:

  • Days: £22.00 per hour
  • Nights/Saturdays: £29.00 per hour
  • Sundays/Bank Holidays: £36.00 per hour

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will deliver compassionate, recovery-focused mental health care to patients in a variety of inpatient and community settings. You will play a key role in ensuring the safe, effective, and therapeutic delivery of care while working within multi-disciplinary teams across different NHS services in North Wales.

Key Responsibilities of the Mental Health Nurse:

  • Assessing, planning, and delivering high-quality nursing care to patients with complex mental health needs.
  • Administering medication and monitoring treatment in line with clinical guidelines.
  • Supporting recovery-focused care plans that promote independence and wellbeing.
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and agencies.
  • Maintaining accurate, up-to-date clinical documentation in line with NMC standards.

Requirements of the Mental Health Nurse:

  • Current NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
  • Previous experience working in inpatient or community mental health services.
  • Strong communication, clinical, and risk assessment skills.
  • Flexibility to work across a range of shifts and sites in North Wales.
