Job summary

A national health service provider in Wales is looking for individuals to join their Newborn Hearing Screening Team. This role involves working both in hospital and community settings, performing screening duties for newborns. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, experience working with children, and be able to travel for work. This position requires reliable individuals willing to engage in ongoing training and development, with a pay range of £25,313 to £26,999 per annum pro rata.

Qualifications

• Experience of using a computer for data entry.
• Experience of working with children and families.
• Ability to undertake routine equipment checks.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with parents throughout the process of screening.
• Handle babies and use screening equipment.
• Accurately record clinical and test data.

Education

GCSE standard or equivalent experience A-C in English Language
